Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Damian Bracy is the fourth veterinarian within his extended family, receiving his doctorate from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine, his MBA from Kennesaw State University, as well as medical certifications in Canine Rehabilitation/Physical Therapy through the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine and Small Animal Acupuncture from the Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine. He began his professional career in the family owned practice in Knoxville, Tennessee until moving to the Greater Atlanta Area where he worked for fifteen years as a partner and Chief Veterinarian for Chateau Animalias integrated veterinary practice. Dr. Bracy joined the Steele Creek Animal Hospital Team in July 2016 after marriage brought him to the Charlotte area. My decision to pursue a career in veterinary medicine stems from the early respect gained as a child for the selfless devotion and loyalty that our canine and feline companions afford us. They are truly among the noblest of Gods creatures, which makes it a joy to be in their service. In practice, my mission and passion has been simple; to provide service excellence to my clients by offering first rate medical care to my patients and securing the human animal bond. In private life, Dr. Bracy is a staunch advocate for fitness, healthy living and developing the human form. Realizing the health benefits personally, he understands that true fitness is more than just routine or reactive visits to a health care provider but a composite of activities that support long term wellness. From this understanding is born his desire to bring similar holist-therapeutic and physical rehabilitation options to his own patients. Ultimately, this serves to raise the bar on veterinary care by enhancing client options, addressing the comprehensive wellness needs of our companion animals, enhancing their quality of life, and promoting the human animal bond.
