Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Wright graduated from NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and moved to the Asheville area after graduation. Prior to opening Cedar Ridge Animal Hospital, he worked as both an equine and small animal veterinarian in Weaverville. His special interests include equine dentistry, emergency care, and internal medicine. Dr. Wright also enjoys client education as well as hosting students interested in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. He lives in Fletcher with his wife and daughter. His four-legged family includes 3 horses, 2 dogs, 2 barn cats, 3 indoor cats and a mini-mule. His hobbies include tennis and all types of fishing.
