Veterinarian Overview
Laurie Ann moved to Bozeman in 2007 and began working at Creekside Veterinary Hospital in 2009. She received her Veterinary Degree from North Carolina State University in 2001. Laurie Ann worked in a mixed animal practice in North Carolina until moving to Bozeman. She and her husband decided to move to Bozeman because of its rich outdoor setting and its charming sense of community. After visiting for the first time, she remember how impressed she was with how active the Bozeman lifestyle was and how pets seemed to be a part of everything that people do. The first time she drove through the parking lot at the airport, the attendant gave her dogs bones! Laurie Ann had never seen animals so intricately woven into the day to day activities of a towns population. This helped her decide Bozeman would be a wonderful place to live and practice animal medicine.Laurie Ann's family, which includes her husband and two young daughters enjoy the community and its dedication to the beautiful environment surrounding us. Her dog Mavis loves to join them on hikes and camping trips in the summer. On winter weekends, you will find them at Bridger Bowl. If you would like to meet Laurie Ann's family, come to one of the puppy socialization classes which are offered quarterly at Creekside. Her children are always willing to hold a puppy, and this is an example of one of the ways we introduce new stimuli to puppies during their most impressionable months. Laurie Ann enjoys meeting and helping families integrate puppies into their households in a way that will help mold a strong and happy bond with everyone in the family
