Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Wendy Byrd is a native of Brandon, MS and a 2008 graduate of Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Byrd moved to Nashville, TN where she practiced in a small animal hospital for two years before returning home to Mississippi in 2010. Since that time, she has been a part of the Northeast Animal Hospital team helping to provide the highest level of care to both our patients as well as our clients. What Dr. Byrd loves most about her job is helping pets live longer, healthier lives with the families they love. Dr. Byrd has four rescued babies, which includes her cat Otessa and dogs Brentlee, Charlie and Emily.
