Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Robert Melco, purchased Maple Grove Pet Hospital and renamed the practice, Paws & Claws Pet Hospital of Maple Grove in the fall of 2013. Before opening his own practice Dr. Melco practiced for 16 years in the Milaca area. Dr. Melco grew up in West St. Paul, MN and graduated from the University of Minnesota's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. His professional interests are small animal medicine, pocket pets, exotics as well as Laser Surgery. Dr. Melco married his wife, Lynn, in 1992 and they have 3 kids along with 3 dogs, two cats and several chickens. In his free time Dr. Melco enjoys cooking, gardening, canning, fishing and spending time with his wife and kids.
