Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Michaela Kohler graduated from The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Following graduation, she completed a one year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital in Weymouth, Massachusetts. Dr. Kohler and her husband (also a veterinarian) relocated to the Twin Cities in the summer of 2013 when her husband began his small animal suDr. Michaela Kohlerrgical residency at The University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Kohler loves being a general practice veterinarian because of the bond she gets to develop with her patients and clients. Her special areas of interest are emergency and critical care, feline medicine, and exotic animal medicine.In her spare time, Dr. Kohler enjoys reading, running, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors with her husband, Rickard and their lab mix, Kajsa. They also have two cats at home: Hal, a Maine coon mix, and Timmy, a 3-legged tabby.
