Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Guss joined the Akin Hills team in January 2012. She entered veterinary medicine as a second career after focusing 15 years on social justice and domestic hunger relief. Dr. Guss views veterinary medicine as a natural extension of such pursuits and loves spending her days helping keep your furry friends healthy and happy. Of particular interest are preventative medicine, internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. In her spare time she likes to cuddle up with her dogs Molly, Izzy and Dixie and cats Princess and Wobbles. She even occasionally hangs out with humans such as her husband and step children.
