Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Gail Gieseke lives in rural Waconia with her husband Mike and their menagerie of pets: dogs Penny and Bella; cats Bob and Thor. They also have 2 adults sons.Dr. Gieseke attended the U of MN Duluth and Twin Cities for her undergraduate work and went on to attend the University of Minnesota School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1991. She purchased Chaska Valley Veterinary Clinic in 1997, growing and expanding the clinic and staff in 2000 with the addition of a classmate and partner, Dr. Jody Elsen.Her areas of interest include preventative medicine, general surgery and geriatric medicine. Her hobbies include gardening (Dr. Gieseke is a Master Gardener with the U of MN Extension for Carver/Scott counties), travel, canoeing in The BWCA, Gopher Football, scuba diving and spending time with her pets.
