Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Carrie McCraw is a graduate of the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. During veterinary school, she was president of the dental club, and co-president of the Student Chapter of the American Animal Hospital Association and public health club. In 2013 she was awarded the Salsbury Veterinary Medical Scholarship for superior scholarship, initiative and leadership.Her professional interests include dentistry, exotic pets, and public health. She is currently finishing her Master of Public Health degree project on developing a contingency plan for raccoon variant rabies in the state of Minnesota. Dr. McCraw is the current chair of the American Animal Hospital Association Student Committee and is passionate about ensuring veterinary students learn how to practice the highest standards of veterinary care and preventative medicine.Dr. McCraw worked on the Pet Crossing dental service as a certified veterinary technician before attending vet schoolDr. McCraw and her husband, Jason, share their house with a gorgeous kitty who loves to get his teeth brushed every day, and a Munsterlander named Rylan who is a whiz at tracking.
