Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Catherine Illuzzis love of animals and desire to be a veterinarian started when her family moved to a small farm in New Jersey when she was nine years old. She spent her childhood raising sheep, riding horses and taking care of anything that wandered onto the property. After graduating high school, Dr. Illuzzi attended Loyola College in Baltimore with the intent of going to veterinary school. She then attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Illuzzi practiced for a year in Fayetteville, North Carolina before starting at Airpark. Her professional interests include animal behavior, diagnostic imaging (especially ultrasonography) and soft tissue surgery. When she is not working, Dr. Illuzzi enjoys cooking, photography, reading and spending time with friends and family.
