Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Salifou Ngouyamsa Bishop is a foreign graduate from the University of Dakar Senegal School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Originally from Cameroon (Central Africa), Dr. Bishop is a native French speaker (Salut!). He completed his Externship at North Carolina State University, College of Veterinary Medicine which prepared him to obtain his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in Oklahoma State University, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. "I feel like I went to Vet School several times in order to obtain the USA veterinary license to practice...as much as the process is rigorous and frustrating at the same time, the knowledge and experience gained through this is priceless and worth it!" Dr. Bishop has a strong interest in preventative care, Dentistry, Internal Medicine and Diagnostics to address clinical cases. Holistic and conservative approaches are another major area of interest. "Spending time with our pets and kids is one of my hobbies, among playing and coaching soccer in my community. I adore American Football and am planning to try out for The Ravens one day!"
