Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Burbach grew up in Potomac, MD and began riding horses at 6 years old. She attended veterinary school at Kansas State University and graduated in May of 2011. She spent time working for a horse breeding operation in Kansas before returning to Maryland in the fall of 2011. After working at a mixed animal practice, Dr. Burbach joined Healing Hands Animal Hospital in August of 2013. She is excited to continue practicing on smaller animals and learning about alternative therapies such as chiropractic medicine. Dr. Burbach has 4 horses, 6 cats and 2 dogs. In her spare time she continues to compete her horses in hunter/jumper competitions and is a volunteer surgeon for Snip/Tuck, Inc.
