Veterinarian Overview
For over 26 years, Dr. Michael Shulkin has been practicing at Dunloggin Veterinary Hospital. Born and raised in Denver, Colorado he graduated from Colorado State University of Veterinary Medicine and joined the Dunloggin Staff in 1982. Dr. Shulkin has traveled to Nicaragua, Belize, and Honduras to provide complimentary care under the auspices of World Vets, a non-governmental organization active in third world countries.He has assumed a leadership role planning educational conferences for the Maryland Veterinary Medical Association and the Greater Baltimore Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Shulkin enjoys hiking, scuba diving and snorkeling. He has raised two sons, resides with his wife and golden retriever, Emma, and is actively involved in a number of community service organizations.
