Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lisa Troutman has worked part time at Brookeville Animal Hospital since 2000. She also works full time at the Federal Food and Drug Administration, Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM) for the past 15 years in new drug approval for cats, dogs, and horses. She received her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from Cornell University, a Masters degree in physiology from the University of Dayton and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Her interests are oncology, geriatric feline medicine and behavior. In her spare time she enjoys endurance riding along side her husband Kent with her Arab and his Morgan, gardening and birding.
