Veterinarian Overview
He practically grew up in a veterinary hospital as his father, Dr. Jim Heintz, was an owner of Lakeview Veterinary Hospital for over 35 years. A 2008 graduate of Tuskeegee University, Dr. Heintz was awarded the Robert Horne Award for proficiency in Advanced Orthopedic Surgery. He has a special interest in small animal surgery and after graduation, sharpened his skills with surgical training at the Louisiana Veterinary Referral Center. Dr. Heintz has also worked at several urban emergency clinics, as well as, relief work in general small animal practices in the area. He is a member of both the state and national veterinary medical associations. Dr. Heintz is married to his college sweetheart and they have three beautiful children, two sons and a daughter.
