Veterinarian Overview
A native of Alabama, Dr.Grayson graduated from Auburn University's School of Pharmacy before moving to Louisiana. After working for several years as a hospital pharmacist, Dr. Grayson pursued a degree in veterinary medicine. She is a 1998 graduate of Louisiana State University's School of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr.Grayson began her career and became a practice owner at Lakeview Veterinary Hospital in New Orleans. In addition to her work at Lakeview, Dr. Grayson has worked in emergency clinics and with the LA-SPCA's Wellness Clinic, feral cat program and performed countless spays and neuters on adoptable pets. Dr. Grayson is well known in the veterinary community- having served as the Southeastern Louisiana Veterinary Associations treasurer for 8 years and as a board member of the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association, to which she is currently serving as treasurer. She has been appointed by Governors Blanco and Jindal to serve on the board of the Louisiana Animal Welfare Commission. Dr. Grayson is also an Ascension Parish Master Gardener and a Board Member of the City Park Big Bass Fishing Rodeo & the Bayou Manchac Group.
