Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Meredith Mouney grew up on the lakefront in New Orleans and attended the Academy of the Sacred Heart class of 2002. She competed on the NCAA equestrian team at the University of Georgia where she attended college. She received her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Louisiana State University in 2009 and went on to a small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship at the University of Georgia from 2009-2010. She completed a residency in veterinary ophthalmology and received a masters degree at Purdue University from 2010-2013. During her training, Dr. Mouney authored multiple articles pertaining to veterinary ophthalmology. She became a board certified veterinary ophthalmologist in 2013 and is a current member of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists. Dr. Mouney rides hunter jumpers and loves her horse Owen, her two French bulldogs Ellenore and Pierre and her Labrador Mozelle.
