Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Emerson is a 1982 graduate of the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine and a practice owner for over 25 years. A founding partner of the clinic in 2003, he purchased the clinic from his partners in 2008. He brings medical and management experience to our clinic. He has a strong interest in Emergency and Critical Care medicine and Veterinary Management. Dr. Emerson has the goals of providing a veterinary emergency clinic that is on par with any in the United States, and with providing a great place for staff to work and clients to interact. Dr. Emerson is married to Juliet Emerson (who serves as our Practice Manager) and has one son, Gabe, and more pet cats than he is willing to admit to.
