Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Stephen M. Lee, Jr. was born and raised in Minden, a small town in North Louisiana. Growing up on a ranch surrounded by animals, he always had a special interest in veterinary medicine. Dr. Lee attended Louisiana State University as an undergraduate receiving a degree in Dairy Science. While at LSU he was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity and was accepted into the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998 and graduated in 2002. He married his wife, Dr. Lacie Lee, during his third year of veterinary school. Dr. Lee is a member of the AVMA, GVMA, LVMA, BRAVMA, American Veterinary Dental Society, and is a member of the Veterinary Honor Society, Phi Zeta. Dr. Lee has a special interest in small animal medicine, soft tissue/orthopedic surgery, and dentistry. Following practice in Atlanta, Georgia, he and his wife, Dr. Lacie Lee, returned to their home state to practice with Dr. Alfred Stevens at Sherwood South Animal Hospital. Outside of veterinary medicine Dr. Lee enjoys outdoor activities and attending LSU sporting events. He resides with his wife, their two children Ashlyn and Jax, and pets Jackson, Cowboy, Millie, Jazz, and Oliver Moppett.
