Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Shipman graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University in 1977. He received a B.S. degree in Zoology from the University of Kansas in 1970. In 1973, he received an M.S. from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Kansas State University. He attended veterinary school to combine his love of animals and science. Dr. Shipman began working as a staff veterinarian at Gage Animal Hospital in 1977. He has been Chief Veterinarian and owner of Gage Animal Hospital, P.A. since 1994. Dr. Shipman's interests lie in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery and internal medicine.
