Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Andy Anderson is BluePearls Director of Business Development. A BluePearl board member, he was co-founder and managing director of South Texas Veterinary Specialists and North Houston Veterinary Specialists, which are now a part of the BluePearl family of hospitals. Andy is a native Texan who earned undergraduate degrees from Texas A&M University in animal science and biomedical science. He also earned a MBA from Harvard University and a DVM from Texas A&M. He also completed a residency at the University of Missouri and is a board-certified veterinary surgeon. Andy co-founded South Texas Veterinary Specialists in 2000 and North Houston Veterinary Specialists in 2010. He also serves on the executive committee of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons and is the organizations treasurer. When he isnt working on developing new business opportunities for BluePearl, Andy enjoys spending time with his wife, Kim, their son, Chase, and their dog, Kate. He can often be found snow skiing, fly fishing or sailing with his family.
