Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Hughes graduated from Kansas State University in 1999. She started her career as a small animal practitioner shortly after graduation in Mission, Kansas at Dearborn Animal Hospital and here at Blackbob Pet Hospital. Dr. Hughes joined us full time in April, 2000. Dr. Hughes is originally from California and decided to make Kansas her home after marrying her husband, Jed, in 1998. Dr. Hughes and her husband live in Overland Park and have three children, two dogs, and three cats.
