Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Meghan Ruck, D.V.M., RUSVM 2015. After schooling at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (RUSVM) in St. Kitts, Dr. Ruck went back to her home state, Ohio, and completed her clinical training at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. With a passion for small animal surgery, she also has a true appreciation for preventative veterinary medicine such as spay/neuter, internal and external parasite control, annual wellness visits, dental health, and proper pet nutrition; geriatric pet care; client education; and honoring the human-animal bond. Dr. Ruck has a strong background in community service, including her accomplishments that stem from the work she did with RUSVM's Josh Project (a veterinary student chapter of Josh and Friends) while living on St. Kitts. She continues to seek out opportunities for community service work while living in Kansas, including helping out at the Riley County Humane Society. Dr. Ruck and her fiancé (who is currently an equine surgery resident at Kansas State University) and have a house full of fur-children.
