Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Mark Meier was born and raised here in Hays, KS. He graduated from Hays High School in 2005 then went on to Kansas State University where he earned his Bachelor'ÂÂs Degree in Animal Science and graduated from KSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. After graduating, Dr. Meier practiced at an emergency clinic in Wausau, Wisconsin before returning to Hays Veterinary Hospital in December 2014. In addition to liking general practice, Dr. Meier enjoys working with emergency/critical care, neurologic, and orthopedic cases. He is a member of AVMA, KVMA, and Veterinary Emergency Critical Care Society. He received the Diamond Powercat and Dean of Students-Outstanding Graduating Senior awards from KSU. When not working, Dr. Meier cheers for the K-State Wildcats and enjoys riding his motorcycle, fishing, and camping. He has two parakeets - Charlie and Sunnie - whom he enjoys singing with
