Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Rebecca Lu joined Mariposa in July 2014 and is originally from Lawrence, KS. She graduated from Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. After receiving her DVM, she and her husband moved to Maine, where she took part in a modified internship practicing alongside board-certified internal medicine and surgery specialists. Although she adored the Northeast, she missed the Midwest and returned to practice veterinary medicine and start a family. As a certified veterinary acupuncturist, Dr. Lu is very excited to be part of Mariposa, where she can utilize the strengths of both Eastern and Western philosophies and practice integrative medicine.She and her husband have three children, 2 dogs, 1 formerly feral cat, and 3 ball pythons.
