Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Donna Maxwell joined our clinic in November 2011. Dr Maxwell graduated from Purdue University in 1985 with a BS in Pharmacology and Pharmacological Sciences. She pursued her dream and became a veterinarian graduating from the University of Illinois School of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. Dr. Maxwell has 3 indoor cats named Pete, Ben and Betty and 3 outdoor cats named Suzie Q, Sissy and Wolfgang. In her spare time Dr Maxwell enjoys time outdoors gardening, biking, horseback riding and hiking. She enjoys stained glass and jewelry making and raises rabbits and poultry as well. Dr. Maxwell thoroughly enjoys meeting the animals and their owners, directing patient care and solving difficult problems. As she would say, Even a bad day as a veterinarian beats any other job she can think of! We are grateful to have Dr. Maxwell as part of our team
