Veterinarian Overview
I was born in Valparaiso, Indiana. I attended Purdue University and graduated from veterinary school in 1973. My areas of interest are small animal health, exotic pet medicine, and wildlife rehabilitation. I enjoy the outdoors, especially fishing, and have a lifelong devotion to running. My wife Patti and I have been married since 1974 and we have 2 grown children. Our daughter Brooke joined the McAfee Animal Hospital team as a veterinarian in June of 2011, and continues as the third generation of McAfee veterinarians. Our son Luke is an engineer working for Exon/Mobil and lives in Washington D.C. Patti and I have recently retired but we will remain in Valparaiso. I thank my clients for the joy and satisfaction you have given me over the past 40 years! I am very thankful for the life, times, and memories that Porter County has blessed us with. Patti and I could not ask for a better place to live!
