Veterinarian Overview
I was born and raised in Valparaiso, Indiana. I went to Valparaiso High School. I then attended IUPUI in Indianapolis where I majored in Chemistry and was part of the womens basketball team. I graduated from the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2011. When I was growing up, we lived right next to the old clinic. I would always walk over to the clinic and make my dad help me cast my teddy bears broken leg! I have always known that I wanted to be a veterinarian. I absolutely love the profession! I currently have a maltese, Ava, and a maltese-yorkie, Bentley. After completion of veterinary school, I started as a Veterinarian at McAfee Animal Hospital in June. My area of interest is Small Animal medicine and surgery. I am proud to be the third generation of McAfee Veterinarians, following in the footsteps of my grandfather and my father. I am so excited to be back and be part of the McAfee Animal Hospital team!
