Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lennox is a 1989 graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine, and has practiced exclusively exotic animal medicine for more than 20 years. She is currently Indianas only board certified exotic specialist, with three specialty degrees; one in avian medicine (American Board of Veterinary Pracititioners-Avian, and two in exotic companion medicine (American Board of Veterinary Practitioners-Exotic Companion Mammal, and European College of Zoological Medicine-Small Mammal). She is an adjunct professor at Purdue University, and has written and has lectured extensively throughout the US and internationally, including the International Conference on Exotics where she was awarded Exotic DVM of the Year, and at the North American Veterinary conference where Dr. Lennox was voted Exotic speaker of the year in 2009 and 2010. She received the Oxbow Animal Health Professional award in 2013._ She has written and edited many books, book chapters and articles on topics in exotic medicine including the Rabbit and Rodent Dentistry Handbook, and Clinical Radiology of Exotic Companion Mammals._ Dr. Lennox served as president of the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians (AEMV www.aemv.org) a group dedicated to improving the standards of exotic mammal medicine, and serves on the board of directors of the Association of Avian Veterinarians.
