Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Shaw hails from small town New Hampshire. She opted to travel further a field for her veterinary degree and is a 2009 graduate from University College Dublin, Ireland. Her training in medicine and surgery started as rotating Large Animal intern at University College Dublin.In 2011 she joined Bairbre OMalley Veterinary Hospital, Bray, Co. Wicklow and began a grand adventure in exotics. Alongside this specialized style of practice, she obtained a further certificate in Veterinary Acupuncture (CVA) from Chi Institute of Europe and was a presenter at the 15th annual Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine conference in El Escorial, Spain. Core to her beliefs are that there is no patient too small or too large, to furry, feathery, or scaly that does not deserve a great quality of life.She is delighted to be a part of the Avian and Exotic Clinics team as an Exotic Companion Mammal Resident.
