Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Walsh I am a 1976 graduate of Purdue Universitys School of Veterinary Medicine and have practiced small animal, equine, and food animal medicine surgery. I took a leave from practice from 1990 to 1997 and served as a Long Term Health Care administrator in facilities in Indiana and Michigan. Upon my return to practice in 1997, I limited my practice to small animal only, and, in August 2007 I purchased Oak Hill Animal Clinic. I thoroughly enjoy what I do and coming to work everyday is truly a pleasure. I have many outside interests. I own 3 dogs, 2 Vizslas and 1 Harrier hound. In addition to being my pets they are also show dogs and are in training for hunting as well. In addition to showing and training my dogs, I also enjoy golf, travel, and attending the Chicago Symphony and I am working towards becoming a licensed American Kennel Club judge
