Veterinarian Overview
Growing up next to Brookfield Zoo naturally developed Dr. Norberg's love for animals. He was inspired to pursue a medical career so veterinary medicine was the logical choice. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 2006 and joined our staff soon after. His special interests include toxicology, dermatology, surgery, and cytology. Learning something new and being challenged every day is the best part of his job but he also says "our staff is outstanding and makes each day fun!" He shares his life with his wife Liz, daughter Olivia, and Mariah the cat. Liz is a certified veterinary technician so their animals are well taken care of! In his spare time he enjoys long distance cycling and is an avid sports fan.
