Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Michael P. Thomas graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1974. His first place of employment was Tazewood Veterinary Clinic, now Teegarden Veterinary Clinic.In 1979, Dr. Thomas left the clinic to join Dr. David Lott in partnership at Tremont Veterinary Clinic. He returned to Teegarden Veterinary Clinic in 1989, when he and Dr. Lott purchased the business from Dr. H.R. Teegarden. Dr. Thomas and Dr. Lott dissolved their partnership in 2004, leaving Dr. Thomas as sole owner of Teegarden Veterinary Clinic.Dr. Thomas is a member of numerous veterinary professional organizations and civic organizations in his local community. He enjoys family activities, spending time with his grandchildren, golfing, caring for roses, Bible study, and traveling.
