Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Armour was born in Austin, Texas, but raised in Palatine, IL. She received a Bachelors degree from the University of Illinois in Animal Science and graduated with honors from University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Dr. Armour met her husband Todd. After graduation Dr. Armour practiced at clinics in Oak Park, Decatur and Bloomington. Following a number of years in practice, Dr. Armour took a sabbatical to have her four rambunctious children, Mitch, Lydia, Ava, and Grayson. Finally ready to work with wild things of the four-legged kind, Dr. Armour joined the ranks at Capitol Illini in early 2003. She enjoys internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, dermatology and geriatrics. She has extensive training in Abdominal Ultrasounds and performs these sonograms regularly to help diagnose hidden diseases and cancer.
