Veterinarian Overview
Some of you might remember Dr. Georgean Zyrkowski before she became a veterinarian. She worked at HEAH as an>assistanttechnician from 2006 until she left for vet school. She graduated from the University of Illinoisin 2013 with her DVM degree. After graduation, she did an internship at North Carolina State focusing on equine medicine and surgery. Following her internship, Dr Zyrkowski came back to the Midwest and worked in a mixed animal practice. She currently practices part-time near Champaign, Illinois working on horses, as well as here at Hoffman Estates Animal Hospital. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her dog Jessie, who she adopted from the shelter while in North Carolina, riding and showing her horse, most all outdoor activities, and Blackhawks hockey. Dr. Zyrkowski is available to see patients on Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays.
