Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Stortzum began working at SportsVet in December of 2017. She has been working in emergency medicine since she graduated from the University of Illinois school of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. The part of her job that she most enjoys is the variety of cases she sees working in urgent care, she also enjoys performing surgery. When she isnt busy at work, Dr. Stortzum enjoys running, reading, hanging out with her black Lab, Wallykazam, and spending time with her family and friends. When asked for a fun fact about herself, Dr. Stortzum replied that she has the best kid ever!
