Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Overbey was born into a family devoted to animal rescue work, and she was destined to become a veterinarian from a young age. Her childhood playmates included not only cats and dogs but horses, parrots, an iguana, a squirrel, and even a tarantula. Dr. Overbey attended Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts for undergraduate studies and graduated with honors from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After graduation she moved to Los Angeles and worked at a busy small animal hospital where she remained for the next decade. Her professional interests include care of rescue and shelter pets, dentistry and geriatric medicine. She especially enjoys forming a bond with owners and working with them through the lifetime of their pet.
