Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Kate Swindell joined Carlson Animal Hospital in 2008 and has enjoyed practicing at such a high-quality practice with a team of great staff. She worked previously in medical research before entering the veterinary field, so her background in science and research reflects in her practice style. Dr. Swindell enjoys the challenge that internal medicine cases present and that has become her primary interest. Her education was completed at the University of Michigan (BA) and Michigan State University (DVM). Even though she is from the east coast, Chicago feels like home now! Dr.Swindell lives in the city, where she enjoys the city life and eating at all the great Chicago restaurants. She also enjoys travel and outdoor sports and often combines the two. Shell play any sport if offered the chance and loves competition. Her cat is named Echo and she is proud of his sparkling personality. Echo has never met a person or dog he doesnt like.
