Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Summers joined the Carey Animal Clinic team in April 2015. He earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1995 from the University of Illinois. When hes not caring for pets at the clinic, he cares for his own pets: a beagle named Beethoven and five cats named MacGyver, Maverick, Maddie, Hank, and Louis. Dr. Summers and his wife, Michelle, also have a son named Ben and a daughter named Jocelyn. In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking and being a handyman/doing house repairs. He can even sew! Hes also an avid Chicago Bears, Blackhawks, and Cubbies fan.
