Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Engels a graduate of the University of Illinois and Chicago State has been practicing veterinary medicine in the area for over 30 years. He joined our team in 2012 on a part-time basis. Dr. Engels sees patients every other Monday & Saturday on a regular basis and fills in for Dr. Carey on a as needed basis also. He has been married to his wife Linda for 40 years and together they have many pets, including dogs, cat, fish and a parrot. During his free time, he enjoys reading novels, biographies and anything related to American history, and watching sports (especially hockey).
