Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Abby Curiel received her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota and went on to attend the University of Illinois for Veterinary School where she graduated in May 2019. She is passionate about shelter medicine and has been on trips to Arizona and Tanzania to perform spay/neuter and vaccinations for pets in need. She also loves exotic companion animal medicine and especially loves small mammals and reptiles. She has 5 rescued pets: a German shepherd (Jewel) and 4 cats (Dexter, Winnie, Benny, and Phoebe) that keep her busy. She also enjoys traveling, board games, reading, and relaxing with family and friends in her free time. Dr. Curiel is very excited to move back to the Lake County area and begin her career at Mundelein Animal Hospital!
