Veterinarian Overview
I enjoy keeping people's pets happy and healthy and continuing friendships through our past and present clients. Patience, compassion and dedication for the welfare of each our client's furry family members makes Dr. Larry C. Johnson one of our adored and talented veterinarians. Dr. Larry C. Johnson received his bachelor's degree in microbiology from the University of Missouri and completed his DVM from the University of Missouri in 1976. He began at the practice in 1977. As a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, Dr. Johnson is also a member of the American Veterinary Medicine Association and the Illinois State Veterinary Medicine Association. Dr. Johnson and wife, Joanne, were married in 1968. They have two children and four grandchildren, and a furry family member, Chip, a Maltese/Lhasa mix. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, landscape photography and flower gardening.
