Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Eisenlohr joined our practice in June of 1989, after earning her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin and her DVM from the University of Minnesota. In 2008, she received the Fitzsimmon Award, which was given by Oak Park Department of Public Health. This award is given annually to honor individuals or organizations that have worked to improve the health of the community. Dr. Eisenlohr has a specialty in shelter medicine and loves being able to help pets down the road to wellness. Her own pets include a pit bull named Lottie and two Chihuahuas named Lilly Belle and Wiz. She also has three rescued cats: Kanye, named after Kanye West for his broken jaw (she also had a broken leg); Lill; Gibbs (who has three legs); and MacPhearson. In her spare time, she likes cooking—especially with chocolate—spending time in nature, hiking, and canoeing.
