Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Kristel Yocom graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2006 after doing her clinical year at University of Tennessee. She has worked in the Chicagoland suburbs ever since. She has worked with various animal rescue organizations, including Adopt A Husky and their beginner sled dog race. Dr. Yocom has special interests in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, ultrasound and pain management. She has a papillon named Kyle (who loves to hang out at the clinic) and a three legged abyssinian cat named Legolas. In her free time she loves to travel, go to flea markets, and read.
