Veterinarian Overview
Jim Hastings, DVM, grew up in the Winslow area and attended Le-Win High School. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1977. He started at the Lena Veterinary Clinic in 1978 working on all species of animals but has evolved into primarily a dairy production medicine veterinarian. Transition cow management and reproduction are his greatest interests. Jim has two daughters, both Illinois graduates, and remains an avid Illini fan. Hunting, fishing, politics, raising dogs, and any water related activities are his hobbies.
