Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Huizinga followed in his fathers footsteps by pursuing a career as a veterinarian. After graduation from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2002, he joined his fathers practice in Homewood, IL. In 2011 he joined Archer Veterinary Clinic and has a special interest in dentistry. Dr. Huizinga lives in Homewood with his Black Labrador Raven, Great Dane Langley and a Shar Pei mix Halas. In his free time he likes all aspects of music (playing, listening, and recording), to golf, go snowboarding and to cook.
