Dr. Horowitz completed a one-year rotating internship focused on internal medicine, surgery and critical care at a well-known hospital in Los Angeles. Upon finishing this internship he stayed on as a senior clinician in the Emergency and Critical Care department taking care of the most critical patients and helping to train future intern classes. After nine years in the emergency field Dr. Horowitz has decided to move back to the general practice setting in order to better develop long-term client and patient relationships. His professional interests include management of complicated endocrine disorders and pain control. Dr. Horowitz is married, has two children (Jacob and Becca), and shares his home with four rescued pets (a 3-legged Boxer and 3 cats). He and his wife have decided to return to the Midwest to be closer to family. Outside of work he is an avid sports fan, especially for the Michigan State Spartans and all teams from Detroit! He also enjoys reading spy novels and outdoors activities such as tennis, softball, biking, hiking, and camping.
