Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Andé Wegner joined VCA County West Animal Hospital in January of 2012, returning to her hometown of Kankakee after practicing for more than six years in Crystal Lake, IL. Dr. Wegner attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2005, graduating with highest honors. She is a veterinary practitioner whose professional interests include internal medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, cytology, diagnostic imaging, and acupuncture. Dr. Wegner is a member of American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, the American Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the Veterinary Information Network. In her spare time, she enjoys competing in triathlon and obstacle course races, as well as fishing, hiking, and traveling. She is the proud pet owner of two dogs: Maxine, a mixed breed Terrier, and Blue, a Pit Bull Terrier.
