Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Matt is a graduate of the University of Illinois School of Veterinary Medicine in Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Matt practiced in Palatine, IL for a year after school before joining Barrington Square Animal Hospital. He is originally from Metropolis, IL, which is located on the southern point of the state. He has a family background of veterinary medicine that started when his grandfather first moved to southern IL in the 1950's and opened a mixed animal clinic that is now run by his uncle. He enjoys hiking and camping with his Brittany Spaniel, fishing, and travelling in his free time. He also volunteers with several animal shelters and rescues. His interests of veterinary medicine include dentistry, ultrasound, and surgery.
