Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Pete Plescia joined the clinic in 2012. Pete earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 from the University of Illinois. Pete and his wife (Dr. Christen) purchased the practice from Dr. Tom Liebetrau in the fall of 2013. Pete has experience with a broad range of veterinary services including emergency medicine, soft tissue, and orthopedic surgery. Pete was raised in the Midwest, but came to Animal Medical Center from Oregon, where he practiced at a mixed practice clinic for 5 years. Pete lives in Galesburg with his wife Christen and their family. Outside of work he enjoys running, biking, gardening, and fishing, as well as spending time with his family.
